1929-30 AUTOMOBILE SALON CATALOGUE CLASSIC CARS CUSTOM COACHWORK CHICAGO EXCELLENT
“Souvenir Catalogue” for the Chicago Automobile Salon (November 9-16, 1929) held at the Hotel Drake in Chicago.  60 pages plus covers, 9” x 6” (approx.. 23cm x 15cm).  This salon preceded the New York Automobile Salon, held the following month at the Hotel Commodore.
Exhibitors included sixteen luxury marques from five different countries, all with unique custom bodies by the most prestigious American and European coachbuilders.
A wide variety of color and black-and-white full-page ads from coachbuilders, chassis manufacturers, and accessory makers.  Full-page color ads include Lincoln, Fisher, Packard, Stutz, Weise, Fleetwood (2), Briggs, LeBaron, Isotta Franchini, Pierce-Arrow (2) , Willoughby, Rolls-Royce, Rollston, Franklin, Weymann, Judlins, Ruxton, and Brunn; plus full-page illustrated black & white ads for Willoughby (2), Derham, Cord, Locke, Cunningham, and Dura; plus a variety of smaller ads.
This catalogue is in excellent condition, with no markings or other significant damage.  Please see my scans.
