Condition: This car was sold to aschoolteacher on May 27,1950 out of Wagner Chevrolet in Newville PA. 22 years later it ended up Swigart Auto Museum and was there for 44 years. In 2016 my father in law purchased it. This was a rust free car that we repainted ( at Tom Henry Chevrolet). The engine was rebuilt with all new parts, hydraulic lifters and blueprinted. Also rebuilt were the starter, generator, fuel pump and carb. The radiator was rebuilt with correct tanks and core. The brakes were upgraded to 1953 Chevy Bendix, along with new gas and brake lines, new cloth wrapped wiring harness, new LeBaron Bonney door panels carpet and headliner. Genuine leather was used. It has a new split windshield with gaskets ,new vent window rebuilds with new glass in vents and doors. An AM FM radio with input cable and speakers in kickpanels and rear package shelf was installed. Some paperwork from the 70's is included. The trunk floor appears to be original paint under the mat. A rare Powerglide!
