An awesome shine, a supple leather interior, cold-blowing A/C, an overdrive transmission, and an exceptionally strong V8... these are the things to expect from a build with only about 500 miles on it in total. So when this kind of total investment has been made on an icon like this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Hard Top, you realize it's a true stunner over every inch (even the undercarriage.)
It's particularly nice to come across a '56 Bel Air coupe. It has the awesome pillarless hardtop profile that unites it with its Tri-Five siblings, but these also had the right sense of style all their own. So it's great to see a car with all the right investments to really highlight this flair. The two-tone is Burgundy Red Metallic and Pearl White Metallic so you know it was made to radiate in the sunshine. The consignor claims this was given a complete frame-off restoration five years ago. So not only does the paint look beautiful, but the panels have a terrific fit, too. The high contrast colors are especially noticeable on the '56 Bel Air's exclusive trim theme that has the white streak sweeping up the side and through the doorline like an unbroken line. In fact, the trim looks like new, so it's like a sharp spear piercing its way through the deep red. All the other brightwork shines brilliantly, too, inducing classic pieces like the year-specific grille, jet-inspired hood ornament, and wraparound chrome bumpers. And those modern 18-inch alloys fit in with the overall shine of the car while also announcing it's built to be a modern and custom machine.
The restoration of the metal may have been a short time ago, but the interior is even younger. According to the consignor, this is fresh leather-lined luxury that was done only two years ago. They took the time to give you thoughtful vintage details, like the split bench seat and correct rubber mats, but the plushness here is the kind of comfy that they could never give you in the 1950s. Everything here is thoughtfully placed to make this integrated an upgrade. For example, the newer air conditioning controls are where the old heater sliders were, and the vents are included in the dash. The radio has a classic AM/FM look, but there's an aux input under the dash for your iPod. The steering wheel is a Bel Air unit. But from 1958 and it's on a tilt column, to give you a hint of upgrades. And while the digital gauges are pure modern, it's a fully upgraded package (including the clock) and it all glows red to coordinate with the car.
The engine bay has the smooth inner walls, polished components, and overall tidy look of a freshly upgraded machine. The Tri-Fives introduced the Chevy small block V8s but this one goes further than stock. It's a 350 cubic-inch motor upgraded with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock Performer intake. It has the right supporting feature, including a March billet pulley system, Griffin aluminum radiator, and temperature controlled dual electric fans. It's a solid overall setup that really loves to run strong. So it's great to see it paired with a four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive that's great for journeys near or far. Power steering, power brakes, front discs, and the grip of modern sport tires are all part of this elevated driving experience.

Fees
: A documentation fee of 9 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale. Sale price does not include any Title, License, Registration, State or Local Taxes or Processing Fees. We recommend you familiarize yourself with your individual state's taxes, transfer, or additional fees.
Availability
: Please inquire prior to purchase to assure any advertised vehicle is not already sold. We advertise across multiple platforms where a vehicle can sell in a moment's notice. Inspection

We make every effort to present accurate and reliable information, but use of this information is voluntary, and should only be deemed reliable after an independent review of its accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. It is the sole responsibility of the customer/buyer to verify the existence of options, accessories and the vehicle condition before time of sale.
Payment
: We require a non-refundable 0 deposit within 48 hours of winning or commitment to purchase. Full payment is required within 7 days of offer acceptance unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing. If deposit and/or full payment are not provided within said timeframe, all vehicles will be relisted and transaction will be considered void. For balance of payment we will accept bank wire transfer (preferred), cashier's check, or personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears).We also offer vehicle financing, please inquire for details prior to making bids/offers.
Shipping
: We have access to a network of private and commercial carriers. Most of them can deliver the vehicle to your driveway and upon your schedule. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody. Buyers are welcomed to trailer vehicles home and we are happy to have everything ready to see you off with your new vehicle.
Drive it Home
: If you plan to buy and drive home, please keep some things in mind. Anything is possible when it comes to a vehicle, especially a classic or antique one. We recommend transporting all vehicles to your home first, then driving it locally. Get to know the vehicle and its tendencies before embarking on a long-distance trip. If you choose to drive your new vehicle home, buyer accepts all responsibility as we are unable to control what may take place once it leaves our facility. Documents & Vehicle Titles: All purchase documents are sent immediately upon purchase. To avoid delays, we recommend returning any required documents within 24 hours of receipt. Please allow up to 30 days for vehicle titles. Usually titles are available sooner, we ask for the extra time in the event there are unforeseen circumstances.
VIN Verification
: We photograph the primary VIN location of every vehicle and make sure that VIN exactly matches the vehicle's current title. Buyer agrees to hold seller harmless from any disputes arising from other hidden or secondary VINs present on the vehicle as seller only verifies the primary VIN location. If needed, it is the buyer's sole responsibility to verify secondary VIN locations their specific state may inspect, prior to purchase.
Mileage
: Occasionally our vehicles may be driven or simply moved around our facilities. Slight differences may occur so we recommend you confirm actual and current miles prior to purchase.
Condition
: We cover the obvious and do our best to describe our vehicles in detail. Even so, please have a transparent conversation with us before purchasing.
