This 1957 Chevrolet 210 Post has had a complete rotisserie frame off restoration at the original 35,000 miles. Restore was done before the current seller owned the car, and there are no documents on the restore. The car currently has 40,865 miles on it. The car was built in Van Nuys, California, and has spent most of its life in California. The car has only been in Michigan for the 5 years the seller has owned it. Since being in Michigan, the car has been always kept inside and out of the weather. The car is being sold out of a collection, by a private seller and is being sold as-is no warranty. The interior was taken down to bare metal and painted its original colors. The interior is finished in the original contrast, excellent seats, including the frame and trim, door panels, dash, and gauges. The jams under the hood and trunk were also given attention in the paint areas. All the glass, trim, bumpers, and grille were removed prior to painting. All the chrome was re-plated and the stainless was professionally restored. The car has all new weather stripping, rubbers, and window channel. The under carriage was bead blasted and zinc coated. All the glass is excellent. All body gaps are spot on, and the sides of the car are laser straight. The grille was redone and still retains the original T3 lights. The motor is a p 283 cubic inch dual quad that has been completely rebuilt at the time of the restoration. It has 270 HP with a hydraulic cam and is highly detailed. The three-speed transmission was also rebuilt with a new clutch, using low gears with a 4:10 rear end. All suspension has been rebuilt including bushings, and rubber. So no creaking when driving over bumps. Steering wheel and headliner are in new condition, and all the jams are excellent. Transmission grinds going into 3rd gear, it is ok if you double clutch it.
