This is one of the nicest untouched cars i have ever owned. I really do not want to sell this car but i am buying the car of my dreams and cannot keep this one unfortunately. This car is really like a time capsule. Is it perfect? No. But its only original once. The paint is original and had never been repainted. No rust. The paint is amazing. It is still shiny and does not have any checking. This tells me the car never sat outside. There is a spot on the hood that is discolored. Looks like something was spilled on it or maybe bird droppings that were left on too long. It is about the size of a half dollar. It can probably be touched up with an air brush. The original owner was a lady who was born in the late 1800’s. She was in her 80’s when she ordered the car from Jim Fuller Chevrolet in Corning New York. So you know she never drove it in the winter. The trunk floor is amazing. The spatter paint is original and looks brand new. Mrs. Amati ordered the car black with aqua interior, factory air conditioning, power steering, am push button radio, tinted glass, fullsize hubcaps, c and c group which included both outside mirrors, day night mirror, and i think the dual ash trays. Also ordered the 2 speed powerglide (does not leak or slip), 775x14 black sidewall tires, and dealer added undercoating. The original belts, hoses, clamps, water pump, radiator, and water outlet are all included. They were changed because of age. The original belts and hoses still have the gm part numbers on them.
The original dealer invoice, dealer order sheet, protecto plate, and the original temporary registration card is included.
Car runs and drives great. The prior owner installed an aftermarket radio and oil pressure guage. The radio is not bolted to the floor. So you can take it right out. No damage or holes were drilled into the floor.
Original windshield is perfect with no cracks.
Clear texas title in my name. Not too often you find cars like this.
