    Description

Custom build for the race team.
Great reviews from the past weekend of June 24th with a customer who had issues with the kart. "It worked!" he boasted after making this purchase.  Here is an explanation by our lead tech at MRP Motorsports
The 17 mm stubs axles were designed with low horsepower/low  weight categories in mind, especially the youth drivers who are  "in-between" the sportsman and junior categories.
As soon as the full size karts were introduced with 25 mm stub axles we began testing with the 17 mm stubs with great success.
We use them still with the lowest hp senior class being the LO 206.
The stub axles are designed to soften up the front and take some the initial grip out of the front.  Obviously getting rid of the front hub completely with a 17 mm direct spindle mount wheel, you'll be able to take a substantial amount of the grip out, compared to the 25 mm stub axle.
These are sold by the piece.  It is a quick change for those of you who are looking for a new tuning
opportunity. It is a solid piece of steel machined down and customized.
