Broadmoor pottery blue bowl with lid topped by darling dog

Description

Broadmoor pottery blue lidded bowl in excellent condition. Slight wear on the dogs face as noted in the photos but nothing that wouldn't be expected in an almost 100 year old piece of pottery. The dog figure is darling and quirky, the sticker inside the bowl says "Clay I am It is Most True Disdain me not For so are you"  someone had a sense of humor.  This pottery shop was was in Colorado Spring for just a few years before the Depression took it down, what a shame the pieces I see on line are beautiful and unique. Have a dog fan in your family? This could be the bowl that holds doggie treats, or contains the beloved ashes of a pet you once loved.
