    Description

    This is a vintage, glamorous, footed Hollywood Regency style tissue box, measuring approximately 10 x 5 x 3 inches. I would date it to the 1950's. I described the color on the lid as copper gold because, as you can see from the pictures, the raised shell ornament is pink as well as silvery and gold. I don't know if this is the copper showing through, or intended by the makers. It is lovely either way. The box has a fine corduroy fabric underneath and gold cardboard inside (this has some stains and dust, but it is under your own tissue box). The sides are filligree with elegant stamped floral and swirl patterns on the edges. A statement tissue box!
