    The
    paulownia wood
    box appears durable but it is old.
    It has crackage,
    nicks, marks, scuffs, wear, dust, etc..  It needs TLC.

    The Japanese doll artisan
    signed and marked the
    lid of the
    box.   We are unable to read the calligraphy.
